Instructions

In a pot, bring to a boil the sugar, milk, cream, and the cocoa powder. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and the corn starch. When the liquid has come to a boil, remove from the heat. While you are whisking your eggs, slowly start to pour the hot liquid into your eggs. Once you have poured half of the hot liquid into the egg mix you can now combine the two mixes into your pot and bring back to the heat. Continuously mixing, cook the pudding until it thickens up. You’ll know the pudding is thick enough when it comes to a nappe (the pudding coats the back of a spoon without running down). Remove the pot from the heat and whisk in the cubed butter, vanilla, and the Dorda Double Chocolate Liqueur. Pour the pudding into individual glasses and allow to cool in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Garnish with freshly whipped cream, cocoa powder, and chocolate shavings.
